Healing Through Feminist Trauma Therapy for Women

I believe healing begins in moments where you feel truly seen—where you don’t have to perform, explain yourself away, or carry everything alone. So much of what we struggle with makes sense in the context of what we’ve lived through, and together we can gently make space for those parts of you that have been overwhelmed, silenced, or pushed aside. My approach honors the wisdom of your body and your story, moving at a pace that feels safe and sustainable. This work isn’t about fixing you—it’s about helping you come back to yourself, build trust within, and create a life that feels more connected, grounded, and fully your own.

My Approaches

Art Therapy

I use art therapy to help you express and process what feels hard to put into words, allowing insight and healing to emerge in a more intuitive, embodied way. It creates space to explore emotions, identity, and experiences safely and creatively, without pressure to “get it right.”

Somatic Experiencing

Through somatic experiencing, I support you in gently reconnecting with your body, noticing sensations, and building your capacity to feel safe and regulated. This approach helps release stored stress and trauma while strengthening your nervous system’s resilience.

Internal Family Systems

With IFS, we explore the different “parts” of you with curiosity and compassion, especially those that have developed to protect you. This work helps you build a deeper relationship with yourself and access a more grounded, centered sense of self.

EMDR

I use EMDR to help your brain reprocess and integrate past experiences that may still feel overwhelming or stuck. This allows painful memories to lose their intensity so you can move forward with greater ease and clarity.

Depression & Anxiety

With anxiety and depression, I understand how exhausting it can feel to carry constant worry, numbness, or heaviness that makes even small tasks feel overwhelming. Our work focuses on gently shifting these patterns by helping you reconnect with safety, meaning, and small moments of relief so life feels less like something you’re surviving and more like something you can slowly re-enter.

Nonverbal trauma processing

For trauma that feels hard or impossible to put into words, I offer nonverbal pathways like art and somatic work so you don’t have to “talk it all out” to begin healing. We follow your body’s signals and creative expression as a way to access what words often cannot, especially when overwhelm or shutdown has been your system’s way of protecting you.

Health at Every Size and Disordered Eating

I approach disordered eating through a Health at Every Size® lens, supporting you in unlearning the pressure to control your body and instead reconnecting with cues of hunger, fullness, and emotional need. We gently explore how food and body image have become coping strategies, while creating space for more freedom, trust, and self-kindness.

Complex PTSD & ADHD

I work with complex PTSD and ADHD by helping you make sense of a nervous system that may feel overwhelmed, scattered, or constantly on alert, while also honoring how much effort it takes just to get through the day. Together, we focus on building regulation, self-compassion, and practical ways to feel more grounded without shame for how your brain and body have adapted to survive.

Expertise in Licensure Supervision & Clinician Consultation

I provide specialized clinical supervision that integrates a feminist lens and intersectional trauma-informed practices. My approach ensures your growth is both professional and deeply rooted in the lived experiences of our clients.

Whether you are seeking licensure supervision or ongoing clinician consultation, I offer a supportive environment where you can refine your practice, navigate ethical complexities, and find empowerment in your professional journey.
